There is one week left until the third edition of the South East European Testing Conference (SEETEST 2014), organized by the South East European Testing Board together with ANIS and Quality House. The first day of the conference offers the members of the community the chance to learn from worldwide known experts by attending the 6 tutorials that will be organized in 3 parallel sessions. Thus, the attendees will learn more about topics such as practical risk based testing, the TMMi model, soft skills for managers, mobile application testing, load & performance – practical principles, or fundamental agile testing principles.
The tutorials will be held by some of the most appreciated experts in the field of software testing worldwide: Rex Black (RBCS, USA), Erik van Veenendaal (Improve Quality Services BV, Bonaire), Geoff Thompson (Experimentus, UK), Graham Bath (T-Systems, Germany), Vipul Kocher (Pure Testing, India), and Yaron Tsubery (Enghouse, Israel). The day will end with a networking event that will offer the participants to exchange ideas and directly interact with both the special guests and the valuable professionals that are going to attend SEETEST.
The second day of SEETEST will start with the opening speech of Mitko Mitev (Conference Chair South East European Testing Board) and will continue with the keynote speech of Rex Black, President of RBCS with an experience of more than 30 years in the software testing and systems engineering industry, who will talk about testers in 2015 and beyond. Testing centers of excellence will be brought into discussion by Erik van Veenendaal, internationally recognized testing expert, author of an impressive number of books and papers, and Founder of Improve Quality Services BV, company that specializes in testing and quality management.
During the second day of the event, the attendees will also have the opportunity to attend to the presentations of 15 of papers realized by members of the regional community. The presentations will be organized in 6 sessions and will approach topics related to test management, test process improvement, agile testing, test methodology, test automation, and mobile testing.
Three industrial sessions will be organized in parallel by VMWare, Quality House and Equafy, while the SEETEST 2014 participants will also have the chance to get familiarized to the tools and services used by companies in the software quality industry by visiting them at the exhibition that will be organized during both days of the event.
The third edition of the South East European Software Testing Conference (SEETEST 2014) will be closed by Mitko Mitev (Conference Chair SEETB) and Valerica Dragomir (Executive Director ANIS), that will also offer awards for the best paper and the best presentation presented during the conference.
SEETEST 2014 is an event organized by the South East European Testing Board together with ANIS and Quality House with the support of VMWare, iSQi and Equafy and will take place on September 25 and 26 in Bucharest.
